My name is Steve Gribble. I am the original inventor and developer of The Gold Lab.

Hand made sluices and rocker boxes and brass gold pans have evolved into some very innovative and effective equipment. Some of it is just “practical” and some is quite innovative.  I believe I have seen and/or used it all in the last 20+ years of research.

Research has shed light on the fact that the most natural, reliable (affordable) process, sans chemicals or Mercury, for separating common sands, common gravels, Magnetite, Hematite, Ilmanite, Basalts, Granite, PGM's, Silver, Gold etc., would be a vortex of water, with "precision controllable", "automated" water speeds.

In a vortex, each product will naturally separate and begin to lift according to the “periodic table” of elements, (specific gravities), weights and densities.  They will, in actuality, lift and do so in exact order of their weights and densities if kept fluid (moving) and somewhat separated and suspended for even the shortest period of time. After a years of testing and experimenting I discovered a way to accomplish this.

Many have tried to duplicate The Gold Lab process but none have matched the recovery rate.  Add to the Vortex, in order to work perfectly, is the need and complete reliance upon, the absence of disturbances or changes in speed and turbidity of the water. (cavitation, spiraling, etc.)  A perfect, smooth Vortex of water, does exactly what God designed it to do. I found a way to “not” disturb these effects when FEEDING the vortex bowl. (very important, precise, calculated concentrate drop zone and operator controlled rate of feed) “Solved”!

I believe I can make the following statement with complete honesty and confidence. "The Gold Lab will, in fact, recover 99.99% of your fine gold from concentrate, -30 mesh down to 100 mesh and have recovered 200 mesh on a number of occasions." I am unable (at this time) to measure the gold, smaller than 200 mesh. (Micron)

The Gold Lab can pay for itself in a very short time! The washes are loaded with fine gold. It has just not been possible to recover it at acceptable rates without the precision of The Gold Lab until now.

My name is John Randall. 

I have spent 48 years in the construction industry as a general contractor, as well as an engineer. As a younger man, I enjoyed fishing, hunting, and prospecting for gold. After retirement, I purchased claims in Northern California and Southern Oregon. After that, I got it! 

I had the Gold Fever!  

After I met Steve, and  Father Time began to creep up on me, I realized that my love for prospecting was at some point going to come to an end due to the physicality of the work and the fact that I’m no longer a young man. We had a lot of things in common, and decided to bring The Gold Lab company back from the dead. Our love for prospecting and gold recovery still burns bright, so we figured no better time to assist our fellow miners and prospectors to achieve the maximum results of their hard work.
